Pirates now runs a connected playable slice — Free Mode, port and economy, sailing, encounters, naval combat, victory, continuation and save/load — in a modern web runtime, with the original game still treated as the authority.

What the record says

The current phase reaches source-backed Free Mode → Moostyn port/economy → sail → encounter → naval combat → frame-2 victory → continuation → save/load. Recent work used decoded source geometry for battle, projectile paths and NPC movement, plus port services, story systems, interface frames and original audio. Full original-executable parity, rare-state reconciliation and the project's device acceptance remain outstanding.
